As a ministry, we desire to see beyond denominational walls by providing experiences where women are encouraged in God’s invitation to Live Like It Matters! As a team, we are committed to disciple and serve with the women’s ministry team from the hosting church leading up to the One Day experience. Our goal is to partner with their team for the purpose of Kingdom impact and encourage the team into what the Lord desires for their ministry beyond the One Day Experience.
STATEMENT OF BELIEF God – We believe the Godhead eternally exists in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – and that these three are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections. He is Sovereign and Creator of everything. Jesus – We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to earth in power and glory. Holy Spirit – We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that He performs the miracle of new birth in an unbeliever and indwells believers, enabling them to live Godly lives. Bible – We believe in the divine verbal inspiration of the Scriptures. The whole Bible, in the original manuscripts, is without error. As the revelation of God, we believe the Bible to be the sole authority and sufficiency with regard to Christian faith and practice. Man – We believe that man was originally created in the image of God. Adam fell through sin, and as a consequence of his sin, lost his spiritual life. This spiritual death, or total depravity of human nature, has been transmitted to the entire human race of man, the Man Christ Jesus alone being the exception. Thus, every person is born into the world with a nature that is essentially and unchangeably sinful apart from divine grace. Salvation – We believe that, due to universal death through sin, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless born again. Our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus. We believe that the new birth of the believer comes only through faith in Christ. No other acts, such as confession, baptism, prayer, faithful service, or manifestation of certain spiritual gifts, are to be added to believing as a condition of salvation.
Always keep yourselves united in the Holy Spirit, and bind yourselves together with peace. We are all one body, we have the same Spirit, and we have all been called to the same glorious future. There is only one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and there is only one God and Father, who is over us all and in us all and living through us all. Ephesians 4:3-6 (NLT) Prayer – We are dependent on God to give direction in all areas. Therefore, we are committed to making prayer a vital part of the ministry.
Word of God – We are determined that every aspect of the ministry align with God’s Word. Each member of the team is devoted to personal Bible study.
Community – We desire for women to experience authentic friendships in addition to their personal relationship with God. We are committed to building friendships, sharing life, and growing together in the Lord. We desire to encourage and help other women do the same.
Excellence – Because God does things excellently, we are committed to doing things well unto His glory. He is truly worthy of our best!

In 2004, God invited six women to join Him on an adventure of awakening the heart. He began to connect us through our personal stories and experiences. Though our circumstances did not change, He changed us and simultaneously planted a desire to share His message of hope with other women. God has continued to knit the Awaken team’s heart to more women through partnership in One Day Experiences. We pray that He continues to grow the team and this ministry exponentially for His Kingdom.
